The images are coming at us fast, in ads in sports arenas and in commercials for the sexual performance drug Viagra.
And they're influencing an unlikely group -- teenagers.
“My favorite NASCAR driver was Mark Martin the (driver) for Viagra and that's another reason why I buy it because of sports,” said Justin.
We are protecting their identities, but Justin and others 11 News interviewed are 16- and 17-year-olds who tell us they abused Viagra.
“Heard one of my uncles also talking about it,” said Justin. “Then I heard his wife bragging about it.”
These kids say their curiosity had unexpected consequences.
“Nausea, dizziness (and) when I woke up, I felt like I wanted to vomit,” said Stephen, another Viagra abuser.
“They hear father saying hey I'm back on the block,” said Dr. Ronald Peters of the University of Texas-Houston.
Peters said he found out kids are getting Viagra from surprising sources.
“They're getting it from their home, they’re getting it from friends,” he said. “They’re not buying this particular drug, but they have access to it so it's very important for parents to know where their medication is.”
“In the long run, they may experience liver damage heart trouble and blood pressure problems things like that,” said Troy Jefferson.
And these kids say the consequences have convinced them Viagra isn’t something they will experiment with again.

The same protein, phosphodiesterase type 5, also acts as a brake to regulate oxytocin release in the brain. Viagra eases the brake off and allows cells in the brain's pituitary gland to generate more of the hormone.
Just as Viagra needs a sexual trigger to cure impotence, the drug will only induce oxytocin release in response to the right nerve messages.
The discovery was made by scientists who measured the oxytocin produced by rat pituitaries during nerve stimulation. When the pituitaries were exposed to sildenafil, they released three times more oxytocin than they did without the drug.
Professor Meyer Jackson, who led the study at the University of Wisconsin-Madison in the United States, said: "Erectile dysfunction drugs do not induce erections spontaneously, they enhance the response to sexual stimulation. Viagra will not induce the release of oxytocin on its own, but it will enhance the amount of release you get in response to electrical stimulation."
Experts believe the release of oxytocin might provide a biological explanation for why people fall in love, especially after sex.
